Sono ibridi perlopiù non commestibili appositamente selezionati per il loro valore ornamentale, assumono forme stellate, bugnose piuttosto che alate ma possono essere anche completamente lisce e il colore varia dal bianco all’arancio più intenso fino a mutare in verde e spesso le tinte si mescolano per formare interessanti macchie e striature. Se volete provare ad essiccarle, scegliete le zucche più piccole che presentano una buccia fine, soda al tatto e senza ferite o ammaccature. Appendetele con un filo passante per il picciolo, in un luogo buio, fresco e ben areato per almeno tre settimane e controllate ogni tanto la superficie per eliminare eventualmente gli esemplari che tendono a marcire.

Mostly they are inedible Hybrids especially selected for their ornamental value, they assume starry, knobby or winging forms, they can also be completely smooth and their color may vary from white to intense orange and also mutate into green; often colors are mixed to form interesting spots and streaks. If you want to try to dry them, choose the smaller pumpkins with a thin skin, firm to the touch and with no wounds or bruises. Hang them with a wire passing through the stem, in a dark, cool and well-ventilated place for at least three weeks and check occasionally their surface and remove those which tend to rot.

What’s needed:
- animated (with wired core) rope or simple brown or even rusty wire
- pencil
- neutral cardboard
- stamps with alphabet letters
Come fare
Stampate le foglie dal link in allegato, con il timbrino scrivere a piacere una frase o il nome del vostro ospite e forate in prossimità del picciolo. Tagliate un pezzetto di fil di ferro di circa 20/30 centimetri, fissatelo alla zucca e dopo aver inserito la fogliolina, arrotolare sulla matita le due estremità per formare i cirri.

How to proceed:
Print out the leaves from the above attached link, write with the stamp a word or a phrase to your pleasure or the name of your guest and make a hole near the petiole. Cut a piece of wire of about 20-30 cm, fasten it to the pumpkin and after entering the leaflet, roll both ends around a pencil to form the cirruses.
